Portal da Propaganda www.portaldapropaganda.comBrazil continues without placing any works in the Titanium & Integrated shortlist. Out of the 33 cases competing for Lions in the area in 2008, United States based agencies are responsible for almost half, 14, followed far behind by the United Kingdom, the only nation with three selected cases; Australia, Belgium, Canada, Spain and Netherlands with two each; Germany, France, Japan, India, New Zealand and Puerto Rico in the dispute with one Lion each.
23 Agencies are remaining in the final runway, highlights for the American Crispin Porter + Bogusky, winner of last year’s Titanium GP (read more about it here), with three pieces: two for the Burger King and one for Coca-Cola. Among the clients, the only repetition in the list is the above mentioned fast food chain and Unilever, running with two projects created by New York BBH.
The favorite for one of the two Titanium & Integrated Grand Prix is the case “HBO Voyeur Project”, created by BBDO New York for HBO. The piece, that has been very well evaluated by the majority of the judges, has already been awarded wit two other GPs – in Promo (read more about it here), and in Outdoor (read more about it here) -, besides a Gold Lion in Cyber.
Our Brazilian representative in the Titanium & Integrated judging committee is Sergio Valente, president of DM9DDB.
